At the end of the meeting, I made several points about how we can approach the task of preparation without becoming overwhelmed.
- Start simple and, from there, build momentum.
- Have a written goal that you can discuss and work on as a family.
- Have a plan that breaks down your goal into steps.
- Have faith that you can accomplish anything with the Lord's help.
Therefore, dearly beloved brethren, let us cheerfully do all things that lie in our power; and then may we stand still, with the utmost assurance, to see the salvation of God, and for his arm to be revealed.—D&C 123:17
