Benjamin Franklin's "Rising Sun" analogy given during the wrapping up session of The U.S. Constitutional Convention gives us an attitudinal model for these turbulent times we live in. Madison reports that he said, "often in the course of the Session, and the vicissitudes of my hopes and fears as to its issue, looked at that behind the President without being able to tell whether it was rising or setting. Though there may be challenges, even so, we can look to a "rising sun".

Those are encouraging words for a time when doubt in America reigns. I'm sure it won't be easy to get America to where she ought to be, but if we work together it will be possible, and of course, worth the effort.

What great words that stand the test of time! I echo those sentiments and feel the exact same way...I too have extreme faith in my Nation!!! A country I love and feel privileged to live in! The country will stand in tact to see the coming of Christ!
